Home Track points + bonus points + SST Series Tour = SST Regional Champion

Bonus Points – Max 100pts/ event

The SST organization has been very influential in developing loyalty throughout Series participants. Enthusiastic teams travel outside of their home track to generate “bonus points”. Bonus points are calculated now, as the best overall seven (7) finishes at any combination of SST participating facilities. This format encourages additional to teams visit participating SST Tracks under the same rules. Teams racing home tracks on conflicting days with other home tracks are able to generate bonus points at non-conflicting tracks through out the season. Proper notification to the series Race Director will be necessary to ensure credit for those bonus events

SST Tour Points – Max 100pts/ event

The SST Tour has been developed to stimulate regional motor sport interest. The gathering of top racing teams representing their SST Home Track, raises the level of competition and spectator interest. This new SST Series fan base transmits into more fans in the stands during weekly competition.

A limited tour schedule and creative SST point structure focuses on total series participation, not just the traveling tour. Statistically, a team just out to travel the tour, will not finish top in the region. Tour Races are developed as special events to keep up excitement and create camaraderie between participating SST teams. Visiting teams may participate by purchasing a Series license and gaining approval of the SST Tech Officials.

Tour points are based on a 100-pt system, similar to the home track structure. Each tour finish is calculated into the overall series. Each registered “Home Track” has priority for a SST Special Tour Event.

SST Series awards

A year end awards ceremony will be organized in celebration of SST Series accomplishments. At this time all monetary and contingency awards must be remitted to SST management for proper distribution. Recommendations for special awards must be acknowledged in a timely manor or prior to 30 days before the Scheduled event. For more information Contact Us.
