03-18-06 - 2004 SST Champion, Brian Bowen

One hundred and twenty teams competed in the first year. Three additional facilities participated as host to the SST tour, for a total of six (6) special tour events including the US Open and the historical Race of Champions. 03-16-06 - SST maintains current head rule for the Modifieds

After a long awaited decision, the cast iron head rule for the 2006 SST Modified Racing Series remains as printed, currently excluding the Dart Platinum Series product. An SST Tech investigation was stimulated by the development of the new design in which many teams and engine builders believed would add 20-30 horsepower by bolting on the new Dart Product, according to advertisement and testing.
